Outside the feeling is one of space. Wide driveways allow animals to be led safely at all times. A storage area is set aside for long term parking of horse-boxes and trailers, and a car park safely away from the horses, for owners cars.

Reception

We have a brand new recepion area with card payment facilities, various vending machines and a hat and boot store for lessons.

Stables

On site we have 49 stables, 6 loose boxes and 8 pens. The livery stables are to an architecturally designed layout and custom built. Each is fully equipped and in the main livery block secured with Loddon stable doors. The latest block named ‘New Vision’ has been built specifically for the stud, with large boxes constructed for our stallions, mares and foals coming in for covering or foaling.

Tack

With this many horses we need a big tack room, this is heated and insulated keeping tack dry. Every horse has its own named racks for tack and saddles. The livery block has a mess room in which owners can relax, with a fully equipped kitchen, shower and disabled toilets. A holding area is available for farriers, vets, physios, dentists etc, all with vehicle access.

Lockers & Washing

Hay and straw is on site labelled up for each owner and put into individual lockers. There are also livery lockers to store other equipment such as rugs, buckets and shovels. These larger lockers are available for hire. We have a wash room with an industrial washing machine for rug washing and re-proofing and a drying room for rugs.

Paddocks & Schools

In the lower meadow there is a grass competition ring for shows with entry directly off the main road to prevent excessive vehicles moving around the stable blocks on show days.

All 40 acres of paddocks are seeded with Grade 1 polo grass and newly fenced. One of these paddocks is for stallions with a 7 foot high fence and electrified top rail.

We have a 18m x 33m indoor school complete with a viewing gallery. Outside there is a 40m x 40m school. Both of these schools are regularly rolled and chain harrowed.

Jumps & Shows

We have a brand new course of working hunter jumps and a BSJA show jumps Cross Country course, fences range from 69cm (2’3″) to 92cm (3′). This Cross Country course is professionally designed to provide a testing course for the experienced rider or a fun course for the less able.

Keeping it Clean

We have a state of the art paddock cleaner. This great bit of kit removes all muck from the paddocks keeping them clean and fresh. Inside is kept clean too with all muck from stables and yards removed off site by tractor and trailer.

A flexible approach is taken regarding livery. We have different plans to choose from:

DIY Working Livery

This includes a stable, turnout, use of the livery kitchen and tack room and straw for bedding. The DIY livery owner is also entitled to use the centres facilities three times a week. The owner allows their horse to be used 3 days a week in the school. Prices

Part Working Livery

Same as DIY Working Livery. On the days we use the horse/pony in the school Trifec staff will attend to horses stable duties etc. (This means owners only need to attend the centre 4 days a week). Prices

Full Working Livery

Full Working Livery is an ideal option when going away on holiday. Your horse will be on full livery as below but will be used 5/6 days a week in the school. Prices

Full Livery

This livery service includes all care and duties for the horse including hard feed and hay. The owner can visit whenever they wish without having to perform the day to day tasks that comes with owning a horse. Prices

Breaking and Schooling Liveries

As with Full livery but includes specialist routine and intensive training to break or school your horse. Prices

Grass Keep

Keep your horse or pony out in a paddock. Prices

We offer the rider the opportunity to ride outside and take riders with the suitable level of experience hacking around Upper Triley Farms woodland and grass tracks or along quiet country lanes.
Trifec has a special section for schooling. With dedicated stables and specialized trainers, we are well catered for problem horses as well as horses taken for further education, producing for showing or for preparation for sale. We have a good group of young experienced riders enabling us to school small ponies as well as horses.

The indoor riding school has a surface of pure silica sand and rayon by Martin Collins, the best surface that can be laid. There is no dust, so you and your horse come out as clean as you went in.

Overlooking the school is a viewing gallery, the windows of the viewing gallery also look out over the views up the valley.

We have just finished completing a brand new 40m x 40m outside arena . This area is currently having terraced seating for spectators and the arena has state of the art drainage. This arena offers plenty of space to build show jumping courses or can be split into two 20m x 40m dressage arenas.

We can offer schooling to any size horse or pony. Triley Fields Equestrian Centre offers a busy environment for young horses, this helps to build their confidence and we find young horses thrive in our environment.
