BHS award triple whammy for Trifec

Triley Fields Equestrian Centre has received approved British Horse Society registration. The BHS inspectors visited and carried out a very thorough inspection of everything from stabling to horse health, from facilities to grass condition, from First Aid cover to Health & Safety, from the management to staff training….. in fact there is little that they did not cover and everyone was exhausted by the end of the day! However the good news is that not only did we pass, but, they were so impressed with everything they saw that they awarded three registrations in one go. We are now an Approved Riding Establishment, an Approved Livery Yard and an Approved Equestrian Establishment. This is unheard of as a yard usually has to gradually progress to each one separately. Our three plaques will soon be displayed with pride on the wall outside the indoor arena.

Three members of the Trifec Pony Club Centre came second at the recent Berkley Hunt Tetrathlon held at Chipping Sodbury. Issie Mogg, Lewis McKenzie-Crawford and Thomas McKenzie-Crawford performed extremely well in the four disciplines of shooting, running, swimming and cross-country with Lewis winnig ‘Best Boy Shoot’, Issie winning ‘Best Girl Swim’ and Thomas having a great clear round Cross Country.

Final individual results held Thomas as 6th boy, Issie as 2nd girl and the team coming an overall fantastic second.
