Class 48 Young Handlers – Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, to be led by a handler who has attained their 7th birthday but has not attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Class 49 Young Handlers – Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, to be led by a handler who has attained their 10th birthday but has not attained their 13th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Class 50 Young Handlers – Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, to be led by a handler who has attained their 13th birthday but has not attained their 16th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Ridden Classes

Championship for 1st and 2nd prize winners from Classes 51 – 53

Working Hunter Classes

Not to Start before 11.30am

Class 54 Working Hunter Pony not exceeding 13hh, Rider 12 years and under. Fences not to exceed 2’0”. Riders 8 years and under are permitted on the lead rein and will jump a shortened course.
Class 55 Working Hunter Pony Exceeding 13hh but not exceeding 14hh. Fences not to exceed 2’4”.
Class 56 Working Hunter Pony Exceeding 14hh but not exceeding 15hh. Fences not to exceed 2’9”.
Class 57 Novice Working Hunter – Open to Horses/Ponies of any
height. Fences not to exceed 2’6”.
Class 58 Open Working Hunter exceeding 15hh. Fences not to exceed 3”.

Show Jumping Classes

Class 75 Pony the judge would most like to take home

Rules

Novice classes – combination of horse or pony and rider not to have won £30 in any relative class.

The Centre reserves the right to refuse entry without assigning any reason to any person attending the Show or to any ground connected with the Show.

The Centre reserves the right to cancel any part of or the whole of the Show without prior warning.

No Exhibitor will be allowed forward in any Class or Championship unless displaying the Number allocated to that Exhibitor as per the Entry Form.

A charge of £2.50 per person will be made in respect of First Aid.

The Judges’ decision will be final at all times.

No unauthorised person shall enter the Show Rings nor interfere with any Judge, Steward or Official during the course of their duties. Any person so doing will forfeit any entry fees paid and be requested to leave the Showground.

All objections must be lodged in writing with the Secretary within twenty minutes of completion of the class involved. A deposit of £20 must accompany the objection. The deposit will be refunded if the objection is sustained.

It is the responsibility of Exhibitors participating in more than one ring to present themselves promptly for judging. Please check the Schedule before making entries AS NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.

Protective headgear MUST be worn by ANY PERSON mounted anywhere on the Showground.

Exhibitors’ ages will be taken from 1st January of the year of the Show.

Ridden Horse classes exhibits must be four years old or over. PASSPORTS MAY BE CHECKED RANDOMLY.

It is the Exhibitors’ responsibility to ensure that their exhibits are free from any virus or disease such as strangles and are in general good health in order not to jeopardise the health of others.

DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES WHILST ON THE SHOWGROUND.

Health and Safety

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending the Show. However, for these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the Judges, Stewards and Officials.

Legal Liability

Triley Fields Equestrian Centre nor the Owners of the land on which the Show is held accept any liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators, any other persons, animals or property howsoever it may be caused.

Please do not muck out horseboxes or trailers onto any part of the showground and please put your litter in a bin or take it home with you.
